Lower Muskingum Historical Society
The Lower Muskingum Historical Society was started when seven persons held the first meeting October 21, 1970 in the Lyman Pomeroy Memorial Library in Beverly. The museum was discussed and from these early meetings has grown to what you see today.
The Key to the Oliver Tucker Museum was presented to Paul C. Dietz, president of the Society, May 11, 1971. The presentation was made by Mrs. Charles Hottinger on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dann.
